Having gained a degree in Agriculture from Seale-Hayne in 1995 Claire has worked in both retail and supply chain throughout her career. When bagged salads started to gain prominence Claire was Product Technologist for Tesco managing the prepared produce category, this led to an interest in the microbiological aspects of fresh produce and awareness of the customer’s understanding of the food they eat. Claire has been lucky enough to manage diverse areas from strawberries to onions, and most things in between.

Claire has enjoyed working with Growing underground for the past 5 years, and is very excited to see what the future holds for vertical and urban farming.
