Jess Moseley

Operations Coordinator

Jess joined us in December 2019 after graduating in Biological Sciences at Warwick University. She originally found out about ZCF while researching her final year dissertation:

“My project was looking into ‘Can Closed-Loop Thinking Create Resilience in our Food Systems?’, and so whilst researching companies that were pioneering innovative, sustainable ideas to produce food in urban environments, I examined what Rich and the team were doing here in Clapham. As a Londoner myself, I was extra curious about food tech happening near me, and so I contacted someone at ZCF for an interview for my project and the rest was history!”

As our Operations Coordinator, Jess helps Ops Manager Alex to keep everything running smoothly on site. On a typical day, she will speak to our suppliers and customers, manage stock checks, build staff rotas, complete final checks on orders and help to keep our policies, procedures and daily paperwork up to date. She has also been known to pitch in on the farm, show visitors and film crews around and help to keep everyone informed by writing our lovely Mailchimp newsletters!
